Con Yeager Recalls 30 Brands of Cumin, Spice Mixes for Undeclared Peanut

Con Yeager Spice Company  of New Castle and Zelienople, PA has updated recall information for 30 brands of cumin and spice mixes for undeclared peanut. Because so many brands of cumin have been affected by peanut contamination, consumers with peanut allergies or sensitivities have been advised by the FDA to avoid cumin or spice mixes.

Recall SignagePeople with allergies or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products. At the time of this recall, no consumer complaints or reports of allergic reactions had been reported.

Brand names included in this recall include: Anthony’s, Bi Lo, Bliss, Com Yeager, Cornersburg Italian Specialties, Costas, James Ferrari and Sons, Fezzell’s G&E, Homemade Memories, Ideal, Jack Bell’s, Jacob &Sons, Laudermilch, Mercik’s, Mikes’s Supermarket, Miller’s Meats, Shop N Save, Naser Packing, New Castle, Robert Wholey, Thomas Meat Market, Thorne’s, Tom’s, Trader Horn, and Washington Farm Meats.
