Corned Beef Recalled for Lack of Inspection

Aadji & Manten International of Maryland is recalling about 1,108 pounds of canned corn beef because the product was not presented at the U.S. port of entry for inspection. Without the benefit of fuel inspection, a possibility of adverse health consequences exists. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The corned beef was imported from Brazil on March 15, 2015. They are 123 cases plus 3-340 gram individual cans of “LASER CORNED BEEF” with best before date of 03/10/2019 marked on the product. They have the establishment number “EST. Brazil 337” inside the country’s mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in Maryland and Virginia and are en route to a distributor in California.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
