Giant Eagle Grab-and-Go Subs Recalled for Undeclared Egg

Giant Eagle is recalling Grab-and-Go submarine sandwiches for undeclared egg. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.

The sandwiches were sold from Grab-and-Go/”Fresh-to-Go” display cases inside GetGo locations. They include 7″ Grab-and-Go Turkey and Swiss Sub. On the Giant Eagle site, the UPC number is 26556700000 and all sell by dates, but on the FDA site, the UPC number is 65567 20399 with sell by date through April 2, 2015. Also recalled is  Grab-and-Go 7″ Italian Sub. On the Giant Eagle site, the UPC number is 22556700000 and all sell by dates, but on the FDA site, the UPC number is 25567 20399 and sell by date through April 2, 2015. They were sold in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and Maryland.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to egg, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund. If you are not allergic to eggs, these sandwiches are safe to eat.
