Mrs. T’s Pierogies Recalls Product for Foreign Materials

Mrs. T’s Pierogies of Pennsylvania has recalled some lots of its Mozzarella, Tomato, & Basil varieties of pierogies because they may contain pieces of plastic that can present a choking hazard. No reports of any injuries or adverse events have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

Mrs. T's Pierogies RecallThe product is 16 ounce boxes of Mrs. T’s Mozzarella, Tomato & Basil Pierogies with UPC number 4116400042. They were sold in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and Illinois. The two lots recalled have “best by” dates of 05/20/16 and 07/15/16. The recall was initiated after plastic was found in the product filling during a Quality Assurance check.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
