Pepperidge Farm Recalls Bagels for Undeclared Nuts

Pepperidge Farm is recalling 46,000 packages of bagels and mini bagels because they may contain peanuts and/or almonds (tree nuts) that are not declared on the label. Those with an allergy to peanuts or tree nuts could have a life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Sesame BagelThe recall includes 21 ounce packages of Plain Bagels with UPC number 14100078081 and sell-by dates of 2/10 and 2/12; 21 ounce packages of Cinnamon Raisin Bagels with UPC number 14100074830 and sell by dates of 2/10 and 2/12; 17 ounce packages of Plain Mini Bagels with UPC number 14100075622 and best by dates of 2/7, 2/9, 2/10, and 2/11; and 21 ounce packages of Everything Bagels with UPC number 14100077152 and sell by dates of 2/8 and 2/12.

Also recalled are 17 ounce packages of Brown Sugar/Cinnamon Mini Bagels with UPC number 14100082354 and sell by dates of 2/9 and 2/11; 17 ounce packages of 100% Whole Wheat Mini Bagels with UPC number 14100084938 and sell by dates of 2/9 and 2/11; and 17 ounce packages of Cinnamon Raisin Mini Bagels with UPC number 14100092599 and sell by dates of 2/9 and 2/11. They were sold in Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to peanuts and/or tree nuts, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
