Mrs. Miller’s Bacon Jam Recalled For Undeclared Soy

Mrs. Miller's Bacon Jam is being recalled for soy, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Two types of the jam are recalled: Smokey BBQ Bacon Jam and Spicy Chili Bacon Jam. No illnesses have been reported to the company to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The recalling firm is Mrs. Miller's Homemade Jams of Fredericksburg, Ohio. The two bacon jam products are packaged in 9 ounce glass jars. Bravo Dog and Cat Food Recalled for Salmonella

Bravo Pet Foods of Manchester, CT is recalling some lots of Bravo Chicken Blend diet for dogs and cats because it may be contaminated with Salmonella. The pet food recall was issued after the Colorado State Department of Agriculture found Salmonella in a package of Bravo Chicken Blend diet for dogs and cats during routine testing. The recall includes: Bravo Blend Chicken diet for dogs and cats packaged in 2 lb. (32 oz.) chubs with "sell by" date 11/13/16 and UPC 829546314019. It was sold to distributors, retail stores and directly to customers through internet sales. Rachel Ray Wet Cat Food Recalled for Excessive Vitamin D, Illnesses Reported

Ainsworth Pet Nutrition of Meadville, PA is recalling five varieties of Rachael Ray Nutrish wet cat food for excessive amounts of Vitamin D. Consumers who have purchased these products should not feed it to their cats as it could cause serious illness.
