Brand BK Recalling Crisp Mix for Undeclared Peanuts

Grand BK of Maspeth, New York is recalling some of its snack mixes because they may contain undeclared peanuts. Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts can risk a serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The recalled product is 7 ounce units of Black Mix Crisp and Crisp Mix. The products are packaged in a transparent plastic container with the brand name “goodies by nature”. The item names are “black mix crisp” and “crisp mix”. All products sold before July 27, 2012 are subject to recall. There are multiple expiration dates associated with this product.

There has been one allergic reaction associated with the consumption of these products. The recall was initiated after a customer complaint. The labeling did not correctly include the peanut ingredient.
