In Canada, Punjabi Cookies Recalled for Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and TWI Foods of Ontario are recalling Crispy Just Baked Punjabi Cookies because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. The product was distributed nationwide.

Crispy Just Baked Punjabi Cookies are sold in 800 grams plastic clamshell packages. The UPC number isĀ 6 27265 00152 0. There have not been any reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.

If a person with milk allergies or sensitivity to milk eats these cookies, they may have a serious or life-threatening reaction. For more information, call the CFIA at 1-800-442-2342 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern time.
