Whole Foods Recalls Spring Rolls and Noodles For Possible Salmonella

Whole Foods Market is recalling two items from a single store because the products were made from Sunland peanuts that may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. The products were sold in the grab and go section and at the full service chef’s case. The store is at 2955 Kirby Drive in Houston, Texas.

RecallThe recalled products are Chicken Spring Rols with UPC number 225757203997 and a sell by date of 10/1 or 10/2. Also recalled are Peanut Sesame Noodles with UPC number 222099604192, with either a sold on date of 9/27 or 9/28 or a sell by date of 10/1 or 10/2/2012. They are packaged in a clear 8 ounce to 16 ounce clamshell containers and sold from September 27 to 28, 2012. You can see the labels at the FDA site.

If you have purchased these products, do not eat them. return them to the store, or bring  your receipt to the store for a full refund.
