In Canada, Chocolates Recalled for Undeclared Nuts and Gluten

In Canada, The Chocolate Factory is recalling chocolates because they contain gluten, sulphites, pecans, and almonds, some of the major food allergens, that are not declared on the label. Anyone with an allergy to those ingredients, or with celiac disease, could have a serious reaction if they eat these chocolates. There is no word on any adverse reactions.

Recall SignageThe recalled products are The Chocolate Factory Our Ever Famous Assorted Chocolates in 400 gram packages. There is no UPC number and no codes on the product. They were sold in Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased these products and are allergic to gluten, sulphites, or tree nuts, do not eat them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
