Whole Foods Mid-Atlantic Recalls Tom Yom Soup

Whole Foods Market Mid-Atlantic Region is recalling Tom Yom Soup because it contains milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Persons with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could have a serious reaction if they eat this soup. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product was sold with a Whole Foods Market scale label reading “Tom Yom Soup” with a UPC number of 0 00000 60146 7 in 24 ounce plastic containers. The use by date is 4/8/2014, noted on the scale label. The soup was distributed to Whole Foods Markets in Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Washington D.C., and New Jersey (Princeton and Mariton stores only).

If you purchased this item and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard the product and bring the receipt for a refund.
