Calperf Recalls Marinated Cubed Chicken for Undeclared Milk

Calperf, operating under Creative Foods of California, is recalling 216 pounds of a chicken product because it was misbranded and contains an undeclared allergen. The marinated skinless chicken item contains yogurt derived from milk, which is not declared on the label. Yogurt is declared on the front label, but the product is missing an ingredient list identifying milk. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions have been received to date.

Green Meadows Marinated Chicken RecallThe recalled product is 2-pound sealed trays of “Green Meadows Premium Meat Cuts Marinated Skinless Chicken Bone-In Cubed Chicken in 23% Yogurt-Curry Marinade”. The use-by date/case code date is September 30, 2015. The product was shipped to retailers in the San Francisco, California Bay Area. It has the establishment number “P-6052” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk or are lactose-intolerant, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place where you purchased it for a refund.
