Chocolate Milk Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Egg

Agropur Cooperative and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are recalling chocolate milk from the market because it contains undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. No reported illnesses have been associated with the consumption of this product.

The recalled item is Farmers 1% Partly Skimmed Chocolate Milk in 1 liter containers. The code on the product is Best Before DE 02, and the UPC number isĀ 0 67997 02056 5. It was sold in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island in Canada at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to egg, do not consume it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund. The recall was triggered by the company.
