CocoNoNut Cacao-Nectar Bar Recalled for Almonds

Nectar Foods is recalling 300 CocoNoNut Cacao-Nectar Bars because the product may contain undeclared almonds. Anyone who is allergic to almonds, or tree nuts, could have a serious allergic reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date. A customer notified the company of the issue.

Honey Mama's CocoNoNut Cacao-Nectar Bar RecallThe recalled product has a net weight of 2.5 ounces (70.8 grams), Honey Mama’s brand, with UPC numberĀ 8 54835 00406 7. The expiration date on the back of the package is 121815. Product was distributed in retail stores in California, Oregon, and Washington. The product has an orange label and is sold in an orange cardboard display box in the refrigerated “grab and go” pastry and deli sections of grocery stores.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to almonds, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
