Crown Food Cummin Powder Recalled for Peanuts

Crown Food International is recalling “Cummin Powder (cumin) because it may contain peanuts, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. People who are allergic to peanuts could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled “Cummin Powder” is packaged in an uncoded plastic bag labeled as “400 GMS”. It was sold at various retail stores in Brooklyn and Queens in New York; and in New Jersey.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to peanuts, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
