Frozen Beef Stuffed Leaves, Pork Pot Stickers Recalled

Royal Frozen Food of California is recalling 230 pounds of frozen beef and pork products that were not produced under a fully implemented Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plan. Some of these products are also missing the USDA mark of inspection and may also contain egg, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. No confirmed reports of adverse reactions have been received to date.

Royal Foods Frozen Products RecallThe products were made between September 1, 2014 and September 29, 2015. They include 17 ounce plastic tray packages with code 607238300447 and containing 10 pieces of “Precooked Stuffed Grape Leaves with Beef and Rice.” Also recalled is 20 ounce plastic tray packages with code 607238300454, containing 8 pieces of “Precooked Stuffed Cabbage Leaves with Beef and Rice.” Finally, 12 ounce plastic tray packages with code 607238300553 containing 10 pieces of “Pot Stickers” is recalled.

Some of the products have the establishment number “Est. 20585” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The Pot Stickers does not have the mark of inspection. They were all shipped to retail locations in California.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or return to the place of purchase for a full refund. You can see pictures of product labels at the USDA web site.
