Frozen Fish Dumpling Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Allergens

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Uncle T Food Ltd. are recalling Hai Pa Wang brand Frozen Fish Dumpling because it contains undeclared egg and gluten. Those two allergens could cause serious reactions in people allergic to them and to celiac patients. No illnesses or reactions have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Hai Pa Wang Frozen Fish Dumpling with Cuttlefish in 110 gram packages. The code on the product is 2016.04.24 and the UPC number is 4 710572 001256. It was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and have celiac disease, or are allergic to egg and/or gluten, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
