Golden Krust Recalls Shrimp Patties for Undeclared Egg

Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery & Grill of New York is recalling 6,188 cases of Shrimp and Soya Patties for undeclared egg. Anyone who is allergic to eggs could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reports of adverse reactions have been received.

The recalled item is Shrimp and Soya Patties in net weight 17.2 pound boxes. They were distributed directly to Golden Krust stores in the Northeast, through a distributor for Golden Krust stores in Florida and Georgia, and through three other distributors. The cases are marked on the side with these expiration dates: 1/24/2015 through 2/26/2016. Each bulk case has 50 individual frozen pieces lined with parchment paper.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to egg, do not eat it. Throw it away or return to the store where you bought it for a refund.
