Heinz and Mott’s Products Recalled for Spoilage

In Canada, Heinz is recalling their Apple broccoli, pea & Brown rice and Mott’s Fruisations Fruit Rockets for spoilage. This spoilage is not harmful, but a quality issue. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Heinz Recalled Apple BroccoliThe recalled products are Heinz Apple, broccoli, peas & brown rice in 128 ml packages. The codes on the product are 2016 MR 03 and 2016 MR 04, and the UPC number is 0 57000 02990 6. Also recalled are Mott’s Frustrations Fruit Pockets – Unsweetened Strawberry – Apple Strawberry Fruit Blend in 90 gram packages, with code NO2615 G5 and UPC number 0 65912 00019 7. The same Fruitsations product in 4 x 90 g containers is recalled; the code is NO2615 and the UPC number is 0 65912 00019 7.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund. You can see pictures of product packages at the CFIA web site.
