Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn Recalled for Undeclared Milk

lite-works-popcorn-recallThe Popcorn Factory of Lake Forest, Ill. is voluntarily recalling 600 4oz bags of “Lite Works Dill Pickle Popcorn” because it may contain undeclared milk. People with allergies or severe sensitivities to milk should not eat this product as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do. No illnesses had been reported at the time of the recall.

The recalled product was distributed nationally in Burlington Coat Factory retail stores. It was sold in 4-oz foil bags with the five-digit lot code 15111 and “best by” date SEP 17, 2015 printed just above the price sticker located on the lower left of the backside of the bag.

The problem was caused by an error in the company’s production and packaging processes. Customers who purchased the recalled product may contact The Popcorn Factory for a replacement.
