Natural Grocers Macadamia Recall for Salmonella Expanded

Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets of Colorado is recalling additional lots of Natural Grocers brand macadamia nuts because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No report of illness have been received to date.

Natural Grocers Macadamia Nuts Salmonella RecallThe newly recalled products are raw macadamia nuts in 10 ounces packages. The UPC number is 000080657552. The “Packed on Dates” of the recalled nuts are 14-328, 14-337, 14-360, 14-365, 15-020, 15-041, 15-056, 15-077, 15-090, 15-104, and 15-127. They were distributed to Natural Grocers’ 97 stores in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Only packages bearing the Julian “packed on” dates listed are recalled. If you purchased any of these items, do not eat them. Discard in a sealed container or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
