Products with Candy Buttons Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Kanan Enterprises is recalling many products that contain candy buttons because they contain milk, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to milk or is lactose-intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat these products. One allergic reaction has been reported.

Recall SignThe recalled products are in several brands: Better Valu, Favorites, Clear Value, King’s, Speedy Choice, and Valu Time. They are all trail mix varieties and include Mountain Trail Mix, Mountain Mix, Sweet & Salty Mix, Trail Mix Salty & Sweet, and Cashews & Sweeties. You can see the long list of recalled products, package sizes, type of package, codes, and UPC numbers at the FDA web site. These products were sold nationwide. There are no pictures of products or product labels.

If you purchased these items and are allergic to milk or are lactose-intolerant, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
