Sincerely Nuts Macadamia Nuts Recalled for Salmonella

Sincerely Nuts Inc. of New York is recalling packages of their macadamia nuts because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The recalled items were packed in clear, flexible plastic packages. They are Sincerely Nuts Macadamia Nuts (Raw) Whole, sold in 1 pound, 2 pound, and 5 pound packages with lot number T7R1A22045 and EXPIRES: 1/2016 stamped on the back label. Also recalled is sincerely Nuts Macadamia Nuts (Raw) Unsalted Halves and Pieces in 2 pound packages. That product has no lot code and EXPIRES: 11/2015 stamped on the back label. The new product will have a lot number.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them and do not use them. Discard in a sealed container or return to the place of purchase for a full refund. Production of the product has been suspended while an investigation is conducted.
