Tonkotsu Ramen Recalled for Undeclared Egg

Sun Noodle of New Jersey is recalling its Tonkotsu Ramen because it may contain undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to egg could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The product was sent to Asian food distributors in New Jersey, Georgia, Illinois, and New York, and then on to retail stores. The recalled product is packaged in a clear plastic clamshell, banded with a Sun Noodle Tonkotsu Ramen label with yellow fond. The package contains a 2 pack red and white colored soup base package on the bottom. The net weight is 12 ounces, with UPC numberĀ 0 85315 40003 5. The products that are affected by the recall are labeled with lot codes that range from 3114350 through 3215336. If you purchased this product and are allergic to egg, do not eat it. Discard it or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
