Tyson Recalls Any’tizer Hot Wings for Bad Smell

tyson-anytizer-recallTyson Foods Inc. of  Pine Bluff, Ark. is recalling approximately 52,486 pounds of Any’tizer cooked chicken wing product that may be adulterated because they have an  “off odor.”  Consumers who have purchased this product should not eat it.

The recalled products were produced on October 24, 2015 and October 25, 2015 an sold at retail stores nationwide. They were packages in 28- ounce bags labeled “Tyson® Any’tizers® Fully Cooked Hot Wings® CHICKEN WING SECTIONS COATED WITH A FLAVORFUL HOT, TANGY SAUCE.”  They have “use by/sell by” dates of October 24, 2016 and October 25, 2016, packaging dates 2975PBF0508-23/2985PBF0500-01 and case codes 2975PBF0508-23/2985PBF0500-01.  The establishment number “P-13456” appears inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The problem was discovered by consumers.

At the time of the recall, there had been no confirmed reports of illness. Consumers who have purchased these products should return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
