Wegmans Recalls Butternut Squash Ravioli for Undeclared Tree Nuts

Wegmans Food Markets is recalling their Butternut Squash Ravioli because it may contain cashews and almonds, or tree nuts, that are not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to those ingredients could have a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

Wegmans Butternut Squash Ravioli RecallAbout 54,000 units of Wegman’s Italian Classics Butternut Squash Ravioli were sold in 88 Wegmans stores in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts. The product is old in a 9 ounce package with UPC numberĀ 77890 36434. The product, in a plastic tray, is sold in a refrigerated case in the dairy department of the stores. All date codes sold since June 6, 2015 are included in the recall.

Wegmans is alerting customers through the Shoppers Club cards. If you purchased this product and are allergic to cashews and almonds, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
