Whole Foods Pie Recalled for Undeclared Egg

Whole Foods Market is recalling Cherry, Blackberry and Peach pies produced and sold in  Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana for undeclared egg. Consumers with egg allergies should not eat these pies as they run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they do.

whole-foods-pie-recallThe recalled products were sold in whole pies, half pies and slices, packaged in boxes and clear plastic containers, with the following PLUs: 22203700000, 24919900000, 24901100000, 24912200000, 22197400000, 22202000000, 24189800000, 24189900000, 24190200000 with best by dates of 6/26/15 to 7/3/15.

At the time of the recall, no allergic reactions or illnesses had been reported. Signage has been posted at stores affected by the recall and all affected product has been removed from shelves. Consumers who have purchased can bring their receipt to the store for a full refund.
