Whole Foods Vegetable Chili Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Brett Anthony Foods is recalling Whole Foods Market branded Vegetable Chili sold from the Whole Foods Market in Naperville, Illinois because it may contain undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to milk could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The store is located at 2607 W. 75th Street in Naperville. The product is packaged in a plastic 8 ounce cup labeled “Whole Foods Market, Vegetable Chili” with an expiration date of “70915” on the bottom of the cup. Only two cups are affected by this recall. The product is labeled “Vegetable Chili” but the cup actually contains tomato basil soup, which is made with milk.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk, do not eat it. Discard or return to the place of purchase for a refund.
