Winn-Dixie and Harveys Recall Oatmeal Cookies for Undeclared Walnuts

Southeastern Grocers announced they are recalling oatmeal raisin cookies sold at all Harveys and some Winn-Dixie stores in Florida and Georgia because they contain undeclared walnuts, or tree nuts, one of the major food allergens. You can see the list of stores where the cookies were sold at the FDA web site. No reports of illness or allergic reactions have been received to date.

RecallThe recalled product is 12-count, 18-count, and 20-count Bakery Oatmeal Raisin Cookies and Bakery Variety Pack Cookies, along with 36-count and 48-count Bakery Cookie Platters. The products have sell-by dates of October 28, 2015 through November 11, 2015. The UPC numbers areĀ 00207995000002, 00267987000007, 00209699000005, 00209700000000, 00267982000002, 00209701000009, 00269736000009 and 0020755000003. The cookies are being removed from store shelves.

This recall does not affect Winn-Dixie stores in Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, or any BI-LO stores. If you purchased these products and are allergic to walnuts, or tree nuts, do not eat them. Return them to the place of purchase for a refund, or bring in your receipt for a refund. You can also discard them.
