4C Grated Cheese Recalled for Possible Salmonella

4C Foods Corporation is voluntarily recalling 4C grated cheeses for possible Salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products.

The products were packaged in 6 ounce vacuum sealed glass jars. They have best by dates between November 12, 2016 and November 12, 2018. The products were packaged in cases of either 6 or 12 jars per case.

The recalled products are: 4C All Natural Parmesan Grated Cheese with UPC number 41387-33126; 4C All Natural Parmesan/Romano Grated Cheese with UPC number 41387-37126; 4C All Natural 100% Imported Italian Pecorino Romano Cheese with UPC number 41387-77126; and 4C HomeStyle All Natural Parmesan Grated Cheese with UPC number 41387-32790. Also recalled is 4C HomeStyle All Natural Parmesan/Romano Grated Cheese with UPC number 41387-11627;
4C HomeStyle All Natural 100% Imported Italian Pecorino Romano Cheese with UPC number 41387-12302; Cento Parmesan Grated Cheese with UPC number 70796-90502; and Cento Romano Grated Cheese with UPC number 70796-90501. The cheeses were distributed nationwide at the retail level.

If you purchased any of these products, do not use them, even if you plan to cook with them. Throw them away in a sealed container or take them back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
