AdvancePierre Foods Recalls Breaded Pork for Undeclared Eggs

AdvancePierre Foods of Ohio is recalling about 3,469 pounds of breaded pork products because they contain undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. Those who are allergic to egg could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. There have been no confirmed reports of illness received to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

AdvancePierre Pork RecallThe recalled product is “CN Fully Cooked Breaded Pork Patties,” with a use by date of March 15, 2017 and a case code of 3801. They were produced on March 15, 2016. The product has the establishment number “EST. 2132” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The pork was shipped to institutions in Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, and Ohio.

The problem was discovered by the firm during a routine label review. If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, do not eat it. Discard it 0r return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
