Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken Recalled in Canada for Undercooking

Costco Wholesale Canada Ltd. and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency are recalling ready to eat Ajinomoto brand Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice because the chicken may be undercooked, posing a food poisoning hazard. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product. The recall was triggered by a recall in another country.

The product is Ajinomoto Yakitori Chicken with Japanese-Style Fried Rice in 1.53 kg. packages. The UPC number isĀ 0 71757 05642 8 and the best before dates are 17 SE 26 to 17 NO 05, inclusive.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it, even if you plan to heat it before serving. Throw it away in a sealed package or take it back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
