Aurnish Enterprise Pork Dumplings Recalled for Undeclared MSG

Aurnish Enterprises Corporation pork dumplings are being recalled for undeclared MSG. Consumers who cannot tolerate MSG should not eat this product.

The company, based in Woodside, NY, is recalling about 5,616 pounds of the pork dumplings produced and packaged on various dates between July 6, 2014 and May 5, 2016. The recalled products were sold in 1.25-pound bags with the establishment number “EST. 4566” inside the USDA mark of inspection and the case code 5960811116. They were shipped to institutional and retail locations in Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

The problem was discovered during a comprehensive Food Safety Assessment (FSA) performed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (USDA FSIS). At the time of the recall, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.
