Beef Jerky Recalled for Undercooking

4 Frendz of Washington is recalling about 497 pounds of beef jerky products because they may be under processed, so bacteria may be present in the product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

Southfork Jerky RecallThe recalled products are Southfork jerky in five different flavors. They were produced from August 10, 2015 to April 11, 2016. They are all 3-ounce vacuum packed packages with sell-by dates of 5/10/16 – 1/11/17 and packaging dates of 8/10/15 – 4/11/16.

The recalled products are Southfork Sausage Mesquite Pepper Jerky, Southfork Sausage Honey Jerky, Southfork Sausage Mesquite Jerky, Southfork Sausage Teriyaki Jerky, and Southfork Sausage Hot Honey Jerky. The products have the establishment number “EST. M22017” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to retail locations in Idaho and Washington state.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
