Beef Meals Recalled for Undeclared Fish

ConAgra Foods is recalling 84,340 pounds of two beef products because they contain fish (anchovies), one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to fish who eats those products could have a serious allergic reaction. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of these products. The products contain Worcestershire sauce, which is made with anchovies.

The Marie Callender’s item was sold in retail stores nationwide, and the Molly’s Kitchen item was shipped nationwide to institutional customers.
