Big Sur Burritos Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Sweet Earth Natural Foods is voluntarily recalling its Big Sur Burrito because it contains milk in the form of cheese, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to milk or who is lactose intolerant could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date in the connection with this recall.

The recalled product is Big Sur Breakfast Burrito in 7 ounce packages. The UPC number per unit is 016741111127, and the UPC number for the 12 pack case of the product is 016741111134. The lot number is 6090, and the best by date is 03/30/2017. They were distributed nationwide between March 30, 2016 and May 6, 2016.

A small quantity of Santa Cruz Burritos, which contain cheese, were packaged into Big Sur Burrito pouches. If you purchased this product and are allergic to milk or are lactose intolerant, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
