Candy Recalled in Canada for Possible Salmonella Contamination

Bulk Barrel in Cherryhill Village Mall in Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) are recalling No Sugar Added Almond Butter Crunch for possible Salmonella contamination. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is No Sugar Added Almond Butter Crunch with no brand name. The sizes are variable, and there is no code or UPC number on the product. It was sold in bulk from Bulk Barrel, 301 Oxford Street West, Unit 76C, London, Ontario, from September 2 to September 7, 2016. This recall was triggered by a recall in another country.

If you purchased this candy, do not eat it. Throw it away in a sealed or double bagged package in a secure garbage receptacle so other people and animals can’t eat it, or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
