Cantata Caramel Macchiato Recalled in Canada

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Mobiltech International Inc. are recalling Cantata brand Caramel Macchiato for undeclared milk, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is lactose intolerant or who is allergic to milk could have a serious reaction if they consume this product. There is no information on whether or not any reactions have been reported.

The recalled product is Cantata Caramel Macchiato in 275 ml containers. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number for this product is 8 801056 051921. It was sold in British Columbia at the retail level.

If you bought this product and are allergic to milk or have lactose intolerance, do not eat it. Throw it away or take  it back to the place of purchase for a full refund.
