Chocolate Sandwich Cookies Recalled for Undeclared Milk

Shiny Star Canada is recalling Fibisco Hi-Ro Chocolate Flavored Sandwich Cookies for undeclared milk, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA). Milk is one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to milk, or who is lactose intolerant, could become ill if they eat this product. There is no word on whether or not any illnesses or reactions have been reported.

RecallThe recalled product is Fibisco Hi-Ro Chocolate Flavored Sandwich Cookies sold in 200 gram packages. All codes where milk is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number for the product is 4 800040 342216. The cookies were sold in Ontario at the retail level.

If you bought these cookies and are allergic to milk, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund.
