Cookies with “Melty Middle” Recalled for Almonds

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Gastronomia are recalling Michel et Augustin brand Super Cookies with melty middle because they may contain almonds, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. There have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Michel et Augustin Super Cookies with melty middle – Milk chocolate and hazelnuts in 180 gram packages. All dates from 4/2016 up to and including 12/2016 are recalled. The UPC number for the product isĀ 3760122961708. This product was sold in Quebec.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to almonds, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
