Curry Powder Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Sesame

The Merlin Trading Company and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) are recalling Merilin brand curry powder because it contains sesame seeds, considered an allergen in Canada, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to sesame could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reactions have been reported to date.

The recalled product is Merilin Curry Powder in 200 gram containers. All codes where sesame is not declared on the label are recalled. The UPC number of the recalled product is 6 935309 034156. It was sold in Ontario and Quebec at the retail level.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to sesame, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the store where you bought it for a complete refund.Merilin Curry Powder Recall
