Deep River Recalls Potato Chips in Canada for Possible Salmonella

Deep River Snacks is recalling their Krinkle Cut Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Cooked Potato Chips in Canada for possible Salmonella contamination. This recall was triggered by a recall in the United States. The product was sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and possibly nationally at the retail level. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

Note: The CFIA updated this recall with corrected product codes. These dates are now correct. The recalled products are Krinkle Cut Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Cooked Potato Chips in two sizes. The first is in 57 gram packages, with UPC number 8 50668 00049 8 and all best by dates from 09 NOV 2016 up to and including 01 JUN 2017.. Also recalled is the 142 gram package size, with UPC number 8 50668 00099 3 and all best by dates from 09 NOV 2016 up to and including 01 JUN 2017.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Discard them in a sealed garbage container or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
