Deep River Snacks Kettle Chips Recalled for Possible Salmonella

Deep River Snacks is recalling their Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips because they may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. The buttermilk powder used in the seasoning may contain traces of the bacteria. No Salmonella has been found in any of the Deep River Snacks products, but the recall is being made out of an abundance of caution. No illnesses have been reported to date.

The products were distributed nationally. They include Deep River Snacks Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips in 2 ounce bags, with UPC number 850668000498 and best by dates 11/9/16 to 6/2/17. Also recalled is Deep River Snacks Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips in 5 ounce bags, with UPC number 850668000993 and best by dates 11/9/16 to 6/1/17. Finally, Deep River Snacks Sour Cream & Onion Kettle Chips – EXPORT are recalled. They were sold in 5 ounce bags, with UPC number 850668000993 and best by dates 11/5/16 to 4/13/17.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed container or take them back to the place of purchase for a refund.
