Rucker’s Makin’ Batch Candies is recalling Dollywood Sweet & Salty Trail Mix because it may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria. No illnesses have been reported to date, but listeriosis, the illness caused by this bacteria, can take up to 70 days to appear.

The best by codes that are recalled are 11-22-16 and 1-6-17 only. The product is distributed in the Dollywood Theme Park in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

If you purchased this product, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place where you purchased it, or contact Rucker’s Makin’ Batch Candies, for a refund.

Clean out your drawers or cupboards or wherever this product was stored with a mild bleach solution to kill any Listeria bacteria. If you ate this product, monitor yourself for the symptoms of this illness for the next 70 days. Those symptoms include high fever, stiff neck, muscle aches, flu-like symptoms, diarrhea, abdominal pains, and nausea. If you do get sick, see your doctor.
