Fish Sausage Products Recalled in Canada for Undeclared Egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency and Pan Asia Food Company are recalling Wang Korea brand fish sausage products for undeclared egg, one of the major food allergens. Anyone who is allergic to egg could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No reported reactions have been received that are associated with the consumption of these products.

Wang Korea Fish Sausage Crab Flavor RecallThe recalled products are all Wang Korea Brand. They include Miss Bong Fish Sausage in 34 gram packages. The code on the product is JUN.11.2016 and the UPC number is 0 87703 13085 2. Also recalled is Cheese Bong Fish Sausage Cheese Flavor in 34 gram packages. The code on the product is JUN.11.2016 and the UPC number is 0 87703 21273 2. Finally, Kkot Gae Bong fish Sausage Crab Flavor in 34 gram packages is recalled. The code on that product is JUN.11.2016 and the UPC number is 0 87703 16995 1. These products were sold in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and possibly nationally.

If you purchased any of these products and are allergic to egg, do not eat them. Throw them away or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.
