Golden Dipt Jalapeño Breader Recalled in Canada for E. coli O121

The CFIA is recalling Golden Dipt brand Jalapeño Breader in Canada because it may be contaminated with E. coli O121 bacteria. In the United States, the product was recalled because it was made using recalled General Mills flour. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Golden Dipt Jalapeño Breader in 4.54 kg packages. The codes on the product are 0414647003 and 0513647003 and the UPC number is 7 63089 72154 8. It was distributed in Alberta, possibly nationally, to hotels, restaurants, and institutions.

Hotels, retailers, restaurants, and institutions should not sell or use this recalled product. Return it to the place of purchase or throw it away.
