Gorgeous Memory Dried Daylily Recalled for Undeclared Sulfites

A&S Food Trading of New York is recalling Gorgeous Memory Daylily because it contains undeclared sulfites. People who are sensitive to sulfites could have a serious allergic reaction if they consume this product. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date in connection with the consumption of this product.

The recalled product is Gorgeous Memory Daylily in 10.6 ounce (300 grams) clear plastic bag. It was sold in the New York City area through retail stores. The recall was initiated after sampling by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspector. The product has 13.39 mg of sulfites per serving. The consumption of 10 milligrams or more of sulfites can cause anaphylactic shock in some asthmatics and people sensitive to sulfites.

If you purchased this product and are sensitive to sulfites or have asthma, do not eat it. Throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
