Kroger Recalls Sunflower Products for Possible Listeria

Kroger is recalling sunflower products because they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes food poisoning. The stores that are included in this recall are: Kroger, Jay–C, Dillons, Bakers, Gerbes, King Soopers, City Market, Fry’s, Ralphs, Food 4 Less, and Smith’s. These products were sold in stores in these states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Kroger Cranberry Delight Trail Mix Listeria RecallThe recalled products are Kroger Salad Toppers Sunflower Kernels in 3.5 ounce packages. The UPC number is 0001111002127 and the sell by dates are DC0316 and DEC0416. Another recalled product is Kroger Sunflower Kernels in 6 ounce packages with UPC number 0001111061877 and sell by dates of DEC1116, DEC1316, and DEC1416. Finally, Kroger Cranberry Delight Trail Mix in 14 ounce packages is recalled. The UPC number is 0001111089869 and the sell by dates are MAR0917, MAR1017, MAR1117 and APR 1117. If you purchased any of these products, do not eat them. Throw them away in a sealed container or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. No illnesses have been reported in association with the consumption of these products.
