Molly & Drew Recalls Beer Bread Mix for Possible E. coli

Molly & Drew is recalling three lots of American Original Beer Bread Mix because it may be contaminated with E. coli O121. One of the company’s suppliers recalled an ingredient used in the mix for possible contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date, and none of the products have “shown any presence of E. coli,” according to the release.

Recall

The three lot codes of American Original Beer Bread Mix were sold at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store nationwide. This product sold at other retail stores or from the Molly & Drew’s website are not affected by this recall.

The recalled product is American Original Beer Bread Mix packaged in a red 19.75 ounce bag with UPC number 855290003008 and Item Number: BB100. The lot code is printed along the bottom seal of the pouch and has a Best Buy Date of 01/2018.

If you purchased this product, do not use it, even if you will bake the bread. Throw it away in a sealed container or take it back to the Cracker Barrel store where you bought it for a full refund.
