If you purchased any of these products, do not consume them. Throw them away in a sealed container or return them to the place of purchase for a refund. Then clean out your refrigerator with a mild bleach solution to kill any remaining bacteria. Listeria monocytogenes can grow at refrigerator temperatures, and freezing temperatures do not kill it.

If you consumed any of these products, watch yourself for the symptoms of Listeria monocytogenes food poisoning for the next 70 days. Symptoms include stiff neck, flu-like symptoms, high fever, severe headache, nausea, abdominal cramps, muscle aches, and diarrhea. If you do feel ill, see your doctor, especially if you are pregnant or have a chronic illness.
